Honeywell Advanced Systems Engineer in Clearwater, Florida
You will report directly to our Engineering Manager, and you’ll work out of our Clearwater, FL location on a Hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will impact the development of cutting-edge projects that transform the way businesses operate, ensuring that system designs align with Honeywell's quality standards and industry best practices.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and design solutions
• Develop and maintain complex systems for defense guidance and navigation products
• Analyze and interpret navigation/sensor performance data using tools such as MATLAB
• Monitor and evaluate performance trends
• Conduct testing and validation activities to ensure product performance and reliability
• Provide technical support and guidance to internal and external stakeholders
• Stay informed about analysis methods and industry best practices
YOU MUST HAVE:
• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) career fields
• 6+ years of experience in systems engineering
• Over 4 years MATLAB experience
• Over 2 years of experience with inertial and GPS navigation tools and data
WE VALUE:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field.
• Knowledge of statistical analysis processes
• Excellent problem-solving capability with the ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Proficiency in tools and technologies related to systems engineering, including hardware and software integration.
• Experience in leading complex system integration projects.
• Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging technologies.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Passion for innovation and continuous learning.
