We’re seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a daytime assignment supporting adult and geriatric patients in an acute-care setting. This role is ideal for a confident RT who is comfortable working independently, managing ventilated patients, and performing advanced respiratory procedures.

Wednesday–Friday or
Thursday–Saturday
Hours: 3×12s
Start Date: April 27
Call: None (opportunity for extra shifts may be available)
Traveler Pay Package
Total Weekly Pay: $2,128
Hourly: $882/week
Stipends: $1,246/week
Required Certifications & Licensure
RRT Credential – Required
Active RCP License – Required
BLS – Required
ACLS – Required
PALS – Required
NRP – Required
PEARS – Preferred
Required Skills & Experience
Ability to perform EKGs and ABGs
Experience caring for ventilated patients
Strong knowledge of aerosol, oxygen, and ventilator therapy
Comfortable assisting with bronchoscopies and specialty procedures
Proficient with documentation, EMRs, flow sheets, and charges
Ability to work independently while supporting department operations
Role Focus
Deliver respiratory care services per physician orders and department policy
Assess and document appropriateness of respiratory therapies
Administer aerosol, oxygen, and ventilator treatments
Draw arterial blood gases and monitor cardiopulmonary status
Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment
Educate patients and families on cardiopulmonary conditions
Support quality initiatives and compliance with VAP and ventilator bundles
Additional Requirements
Must meet all federal, state, and facility requirements
Compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality standards
Ability to meet physical demands of the role (lifting, standing, equipment handling)
Must be at least 18 years of age
