BAE Systems Sr Systems Engineer - Advanced Planning in Clearfield, Utah
Job Description
BAE Systems is seeking an experienced Senior Systems Engineer to lead systems engineering efforts supporting Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) and advanced aerospace system development, acquisition, and sustainment efforts. This role directly supports US Air Force integration of next-generation technologies and requires a technical leader capable of guiding complex system design, integration, and testing across multiple stakeholders.
In this role, the Senior Systems Engineer will lead and coordinate systems engineering activities supporting the next-generation ICBM (LGM-35A Sentinel) and related modernization efforts. Responsibilities include integrating efforts across the ICBM enterprise, advising program stakeholders, and ensuring system readiness and deployment across government and contractor organizations.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and coordinate systems engineering activities supporting ICBM and advanced aerospace system development, acquisition, and sustainment efforts
Integrate efforts across the ICBM enterprise, advise program stakeholders, and ensure system readiness and deployment
Develop and implement complex system design, integration, and testing strategies across multiple stakeholders

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Software, Mathematics, or Physics
7 years (5 years with MS degree) of progressive experience in systems integration and analysis of military hardware and software systems/processes
2 years of experience leading system design, integration, and analytical efforts
At least 3 years of progressive responsibility in providing technical leadership
Active U.S. Government Secret clearance with a background investigation completed< 6 years prior to hiring
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

Flight test experience
Enterprise or program-level system coordination
ICBM acquisitions experience
Professional Engineering License

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $120874 - $205486
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
