General Summary:

The Engineering and Design Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of technical functions to assist project development to include, but not limited to CAD design, GDandT, drawing development, reverse engineering, and other duties as assigned.

The position will also require the individual to be able to draw and read detailed drawings for component and system level designs. This is a multi-faceted position that requires a variety of technical skills. The individual that is a good problem solver who is self-motivated and team-oriented will thrive in this role. ES3 rewards staff members who are responsible, professional and have an excellent work ethic.

Essential Capabilities Required:

• Read and understand technical drawings

• Proficient in use of CAD modeling software

• SolidWorks

• AutoCAD

• Component Design

• Facility Layout

• Piping Drawings

• Electrical Drawings

• Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GDandT)

• Technical Writing

• Time Management

• Willing to learn new skills

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma,

• Applied Technology Training is a plus

• 0 -10 years of experience with CAD design and modeling

Additional Requirements:

• U.S. Citizenship

• The ability to obtain and maintain an active DoD Contractor Access Card (CAC) and/or already possess a retired Military ID card
