Key Responsibilities: primary responsibility is to maintain the grounds, facility and equipment in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations, established facility policies and procedures and as directed by your supervisor to assure that a successful maintenance program is maintained at all times.
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (required) Previous experience in maintenance, repairs, or a related field (preferred) Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and HVAC systems Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to lift, move, and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) Good communication skills and ability to work well with staff, residents, and vendors Flexibility to respond to emergencies and work evenings/weekends as needed Commitment to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance in a healthcare setting
