ManpowerGroup Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance in Clayton, Missouri
Our client, a leading veterinary practice management group dedicated to providing exceptional pet care and supporting community-based hospitals across the United States, is seeking a Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance to join their team. As a Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance, you will be an integral part of the finance department supporting strategic growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, analytical thinking, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Senior Manager of Accounting and Finance
Location: Clayton, Missouri
Pay Range: $140,000 - $160,000
What's the Job?
Serve as a trusted advisor to the Controller and CFO, providing strategic financial insights and tactical direction to support revenue growth and market opportunities.
Lead and optimize the month-end close process, ensuring accuracy through comprehensive account reconciliations and effective coordination of accounting staff.
Assist with audit and tax compliance activities, especially in relation to acquisitions and purchase accounting complexities.
Prepare and oversee corporate financial consolidations, including profit/loss statements, balance sheets, cash flow statements, and member equity reports.
Develop and implement standardized Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) across the enterprise to promote consistency and efficiency.
What's Needed?
Minimum of a BA in Finance, Accounting AND a minimum of 7 years of financial accounting experience, with a CPA license required.
Must have significant experience in Netsuite and proven leadership in accounting roles.
Experience with multi-unit retail organizations or similar sectors experiencing substantial growth, ideally exceeding $200 million in revenue.
Background in audit, private equity, mergers, and acquisitions is highly desirable.
Ability to build, improve, and sustain robust financial processes supporting organizational growth and operational excellence.
