ManpowerGroup Technical Writer in Clarkston, Georgia

Our client, an industry leader in manufacturing and industrial solutions, is seeking a ENG Technical Writer to join their team. As an ENG Technical Writer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting process improvement and safety documentation initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Technical Writer

Location: Clarkston, GA

Pay Range: 25/hr

What's the Job?

  • Convert existing paper-based Lockout Tagout (LOTO) procedures and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) into an electronic work-instruction platform (Dozuki).

  • Collaborate with process owners to collect, document, and validate procedural content ensuring accuracy and clarity.

  • Develop electronic SOPs and LOTO procedures within the Dozuki platform to enhance safety and operational efficiency.

  • Label equipment LOTO points accurately to ensure compliance and safety standards are met.

  • Capture and incorporate equipment photographs for inclusion in LOTO procedures to facilitate clear understanding and implementation.

What's Needed?

  • Experience in converting paper documents into electronic formats, preferably within industrial or manufacturing environments.

  • Familiarity with industrial equipment such as valves and electrical breakers is helpful.

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to review procedures critically for deficiencies.

  • Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively with process owners and team members.

  • Proficiency in using documentation platforms, ideally Dozuki, or similar electronic work-instruction tools.
