Job Title: Packaging Lab Technician (Contract)
Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension based on performance and business needs
Pay: Up to 25.74/hr based on education and relevant experience level
Position Overview
This contract opportunity supports packaging testing activities for new product launches, formula renovations, and packaging updates. The role is hands-on and lab-based, requiring strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with packaging testing for new launches, formula renovations, and packaging changes
Perform hands-on laboratory testing including drop testing, decoration testing, sample filling, and evaluation
Accurately record, organize, and communicate test results
Create templates and maintain detailed documentation of testing activities
Support filling and sorting of finished goods for launches and reformulations
Provide general team support based on shifting project priorities
Qualifications & Background
Technical or scientific background preferred (Engineering, Materials Science, Packaging, or related field)
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly learn web-based software systems
Curious mindset with a strong willingness to learn
Ability to perform physical tasks including repeated bending, lifting, and prolonged standing

Pay Details: $22.00 to $25.74 per hour
