Qualified Stone Splitter

Job Duties: Position offered is for an experienced Quarry Laborer with a minimum of three months experience in Stone Splitting Labor who is able to work with and model companys methods and procedures with up to 3 peers, cutting, sorting, stacking and splitting quarry stone by size and shape with hammer and chisel: cleaning stone chips and pieces, and raking pieces into piles with handheld rake. Loading and unloading rock and materials with a lifting requirement up to 50 pounds.

3 months of experience required. On the job training. No education required.

\$17.53/hr., \$26.30/hr. O.T. Employer will offer 40 hours/wk. of work with hour of lunch each workday, 7:00 a.m. 3:30 p.m., M-F, Some O.T. may be available, but is not guaranteed.

14 positions available for temporary, full-time, peak-load work.

Dates of Employment Offered: 04/01/2026- 11/30/2026.

The employer will use a single workweek for computing wages due. Pay will be weekly.

Assistance securing lodging is available. Optional employer provided lodging for relocating workers only may be available, but not guaranteed.

The employer will make all deductions required by law from each paycheck.

If the worker completes 50% of the work contract period, the employer will reimburse the worker for transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, employer will provide or pay for workers reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of \$16.28 per day during travel to a maximum of \$68.00 per day with receipts.

H2B workers will be reimbursed by check for visa and related fees in the first workweek.

The employer will provide, without charge, all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job duties.

The employer guarantees to offer work for hours equal to at least of the workdays in each 12-week period of the total employment period.
