GROUNDS WORKER
Effective Date: on or about March 31, 2026
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 3:00 pm
Location: District-Wide
Starting salary: $18.75/hour
Minimum Qualifications:
NYS Driver's License required; Commercial Driver's License preferred.
Graduation from high school or vocational school, or possession of a high school equivalency diploma.
One year experience in site maintenance work.
Typical work activities include, but not limited to:
Lawn Care -- cutting grass and weeds, raking leaves;
Maintaining plants, shrubs and trees;
Repair of concrete and blacktop surfaces;
Caring for sidewalks and roadways during the winter season;
Handling of supplies and equipment related to lawn care.
