Dartmouth Health Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) or Medical Technologist (MT), Nights in Claremont, New Hampshire

At Valley Regional Hospital, patients are the center of our coordinated care system and right now we have an opening for a Medical Technologist, or Technician to join our team.
The primary responsibility of the Medical Technologist, or Technician is:
Incorporates appropriate assessment and intervention and/or technical skills in all interactions and/or delivery of patient care.
Organizes multitask workload; prioritizes tasks/work; seeks assistance; collects/integrates data from multiple sources; organizes job tasks or delivers care for multiple tasks or patients, per scope of position. Maintains awareness and contributes to department-specific quality initiatives
Acknowledges limits of experience and capability; identifies learning needs and seeks resources; utilizes equipment and supplies appropriately; maintains a clean, orderly environment of work; ensures traffic control in “sensitive areas”; seeks out and accepts feedback; requests assistance appropriately.
Perform a variety of specialized lab tests in all areas of the clinical laboratory: blood bank, chemistry, hematology, microbiology, serology/immunology, including demonstrable knowledge of expected lab values.
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
Medical technologist (MT) — Bachelor of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences
Medical Technician (MLT) – Associates of Science Degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences
Eligible for Certification as an MT or MLT (must be obtained within 6 months of hire)
Phlebotomy experience
Basic computer knowledge: Microsoft Office
Must be able to pass a color deficiency test

Max:$53.83
