CARGO TRANSPORTERS INC Fleet Support Coordinator in Claremont, North Carolina
Primary Function: Provide support to OTR, short haul, local drivers and entire customer base. Maintain facilities including light housekeeping after hours.
Essential Position Responsibilities:
Assist with driver and customer issues promptly and courteously
Knowledge of company policies and procedures to promote safety among driving staff
Help direct flow of empty equipment to satisfy customer needs
Perform general housekeeping duties when needed
Issue EFS checks when needed
Execute procedures in reference to vehicle accidents and on the job injuries
Help drivers with directions when needed
Monitor late deliveries and communicate any and all issues to customers
Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Abilities:
Strong communication skills
Computer proficient
Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Strong problem solving ability and customer service oriented Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED is required; 2-Year degree or Bachelors degree preferred
Business and/or Transportation experience considered
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting and standing at a desk and working on a computer
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
