ManpowerGroup Material Handler in Clare, Michigan
Our client, a leading organization in the industrial sector, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the warehouse support team, assisting production and inventory management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Clare, MI
Pay Range: $16.50
Shift: 4 pm - 12 am
overtime is scheduled prior to start time and can be heavy, including Saturdays
What's the Job?
Support production associates by receiving, dispensing, and maintaining inventory in vertical storage units and on the shop floor
Utilize the ERP system for all inventory transactions ensuring accuracy and efficiency
Assist with maintaining optimal inventory levels for vertical storage units (VSU)
Pull non-floor stock components for work orders, including printing labels as needed
Operate forklifts and other approved equipment to transport materials between departments
What's Needed?
High School diploma or equivalent
At least 1 year of forklift operation experience
Valid driver's license
Basic math skills for inventory management
Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
