RGP Process Engineer in Ciudad de México, Mexico
We are looking for a Process Improvement & Transformation Analyst to design, analyze, and optimize end-to-end processes to enhance efficiency, quality, compliance, and both customer and employee experience.
This role plays a key part in operational and digital transformation initiatives across multidisciplinary environments. You will partner with Operations, Customer Service, Back Office, Finance, IT, Risk, and Compliance to drive simplification, standardization, automation, and governance across core processes—particularly within insurance (Life preferred) or high-volume financial services environments.
Process Discovery & Diagnosis
Lead process discovery activities through interviews, workshops, and documentation analysis.
Map current-state (As-Is) processes using BPMN 2. and/or Value Stream Mapping (VSM) to identify waste, bottlenecks, handoffs, and rework.
Establish baseline operational metrics such as cycle time, SLA adherence, productivity, and capacity utilization.
Solution Design & Optimization
Design future-state (To-Be) processes focused on step elimination, role clarification, standardization, and simplification.
Identify and propose automation opportunities (RPA, OCR, workflow, low-code solutions) supported by strong business rationale.
Develop structured Business Cases quantifying expected benefits (FTE savings, time reduction, quality improvement) and implementation roadmaps.
Implementation & Change Management
Collaborate with IT and Operations to translate improvements into actionable backlogs, requirements, and UAT plans.
Support change management efforts through SOPs, work instructions, playbooks, and structured training sessions.
Ensure clear process governance through RACI matrices, policy alignment, and accountability frameworks.
Control & Continuous Improvement
Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance management routines (daily/weekly operational reviews).
Execute Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and structured improvement cycles using PDCA or DMAIC methodologies.
Monitor benefit realization and ensure sustained performance improvements.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Systems, Business Administration, Actuarial Science, or related disciplines.
Experience
6 years of experience in process optimization, operational excellence, or continuous improvement roles.
Experience in insurance (Life preferred) or high-volume financial services environments.
Proven track record of delivering measurable efficiency gains and process standardization initiatives.
Methodologies & Technical Skills
Strong knowledge of Lean, Kaizen, and Six Sigma (Green Belt preferred).
Expertise in BPMN 2. process modeling and Value Stream Mapping.
Experience with tools such as Visio, Bizagi, Signavio, Miro, Advanced Excel, and Power BI.
Experience identifying and implementing automation solutions (RPA/workflow).
