Your role and responsibilities

SAP Datasphere Semi-Senior Consultant

You will be part of the Data & Analytics team during a critical migration to S/4HANA. The main objective will be to design and build modern data models in the cloud that allow for the coexistence of S/4HANA data with external sources, ensuring that the business has complete visibility from day one of the migration.

• Data Modeling: Build data models in the Business Builder and Data Builder layers of Datasphere, ensuring logic reuse and optimal performance.

• Source Integration: Configure connections using SAP BTP Cloud Connector and DP Agent to extract or federate data from S/4HANA, legacy systems, and non-SAP sources.

• Data Governance: Configure and manage Spaces, manage users, and define data security and privacy policies within the platform.

• Content Migration: Support the transition from legacy models (such as SAP BW or HANA Calculation Views) to the native Datasphere architecture. • Technical Collaboration: Work closely with functional consultants and the Basis team to validate that data extraction from S/4HANA does not impact the performance of the core transactional system.

• Specific Experience: At least 1 year of real-world experience in projects using SAP Datasphere or SAP Data Warehouse Cloud (DWC).

• Technical Skills:

• Advanced SQL proficiency for creating views and transforming data.

• Technical experience in modeling HANA Views (Calculation Views).

• Knowledge of activating and consuming ODP Extractors and CDS Views in S/4HANA.

• Integration Concepts: Familiarity with data flows, real-time replication, and data federation.

• Signavio Process Modeler: Knowledge of how modeled business processes translate into KPIs that must be measured in Datasphere. • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC): Experience integrating Datasphere as a data source for stories and dashboards in SAC.

• SAP BW/4HANA: Knowledge of traditional data warehouse models to facilitate migration.

Formará parte del equipo de Data & Analytics durante una migración crítica a S/4HANA. El objetivo principal será diseñar y construir modelos de datos modernos en la nube que permitan la coexistencia de datos de S/4HANA con fuentes externas, asegurando que el negocio tenga visibilidad total desde el primer día de la migración.
