The Job:
As a Payroll Specialist, you’ll be part of our Payroll team working as an on-site employee.
You’ll get to:
Manage and process end-to-end payroll cycles (weekly and bi-weekly), ensuring accuracy and timely release of payments.
Maintain and update payroll data in TRESS, ensuring data integrity and correct processing of all payroll incidences.
Calculate overtime, bonuses, deductions, taxes, and social security contributions (IMSS, INFONAVIT, SAR, FONACOT).
Manage employee movements including hires, terminations, and salary changes, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
Prepare and process terminations, settlements, and final payments in accordance with the Federal Labor Law.
Support audits and ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal and external requirements.
Analyze payroll data, prepare reports, and reconcile TRESS system information with accounting records.
Respond to employee inquiries related to payroll, ensuring timely and accurate resolution.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within payroll and master data processes.
Adapt to a dynamic environment, supporting payroll operations across multiple locations when required.
The Person:

You also have:
You hold a completed degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
You have 3 to 5 years of experience in payroll administration, preferably managing large employee populations.
You have strong knowledge of Mexican labor law (LFT), payroll taxes, and social security regulations.
You have hands-on experience with TRESS and payroll systems (HRIS), with an intermediate to advanced level.
You are highly dynamic, detail-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced and changing environment.
