Drives slitting yield improvement through advanced supply chain planning, with a strong focus on OMP planning, charting, and analytics. The position supports supply strategy development and execution by ensuring planning outputs are accurate, executable, and aligned with manufacturing and business objectives. The role also serves as a key contributor to OMP troubleshooting, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead analysis and initiatives to improve slitting yield, reduce scrap, and improve material utilization.

  • Utilize OMP planning and charting to support supply planning, scenario analysis, and decision-making.

  • Ensure slitting rules, yield assumptions, and operational constraints are accurately modeled in OMP.

  • Support supply strategy by evaluating supply scenarios, constraints, and trade-offs related to yield, capacity, cost, and service.

  • Troubleshoot OMP planning and charting issues related to yield, data integrity, and system logic.

  • Support OMP project enhancements, upgrades, and testing (UAT) to ensure planning accuracy and system stability.

  • Collaborate with supply chain, manufacturing, and IT teams to resolve planning issues and implement improvements.

  • Supervise a team of charters to meet the business and customer requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience required.

  • Supervisory and team leadership capabilities. Mentoring and people development experience preferred.

  • Strong proficiency in OMP, including charting, scenario analysis, and planning logic.

  • Experience supporting yield optimization and manufacturing‑related supply planning.

  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
