Forest Cemetery Assoc Groundskeeper Superintendent in Circleville, Ohio
The desired candidate for superintendent will be the primary person responsible for the care and daily operation of Forest Cemetery, a historic cemetery known for its natural beauty and meticulous upkeep. The candidate must be able to work independently, ability to operate and maintain equipment (mowers, backhoes, chippers, etc.), must enjoy working outdoors and a varied work environment. *Must be able to prepare graves and maintain the grounds including excavating of graves, sodding, seeding and general care. Knowledge and experience with earth moving and lawn equipment is essential. * *Physical demands have the ability to stand, walk, lift and more up to 50 pounds and frequently required to lift and move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Work hours are Monday-Friday 7:30-4:00 with the occasional Saturday hours and occasionally after 4:00. Must be able to work in inclement weather including heat, cold, rain, snow, ice and wind. The position requires working closely with the office adminstrator and the cemetery Board. Compensation will be based on experience *
