Bowling Farms, Inc. First-Line Supervisor of Farmworkers in Circleville, Ohio
1 First-Line Supervisor of Farmworkers with Bowling Farms, Inc. at 1455 US Hwy 22 West Circleville, OH 43113 and multiple worksites within Fayette, Madison and Pickaway counties. First-line supervision of agricultural workers performing indoor and/or outdoor plant/crop production activities. Will consult directly with management to supervise/assign daily work duties, supervise/train workers in planting/cultivating/harvesting techniques, safety protocols, equipment operation, and product handling/loading/unloading. Perform quality control inspections on products. Monitor and manage fertility, irrigation, harvest, and pest concerns. Observe workers to detect inefficient or unsafe work procedures. Review work to evaluate timeliness and proficiency. Direct/assist farm equipment repair. Prepare reports on production and yield/output. Supervise chemical application. Supervise and direct repair of farm equipment or machinery. Assist with winterization duties before and during cold weather. Must lift/carry 60 lbs. Employer-paid, post-hire drug testing required randomly and post-accident. Requires at least 6 months of agricultural-related work experience.
