EMSL Analytical, Inc. Summer Laboratory Intern (Chemistry) in Cinnaminson, New Jersey
EMSL is currently seeking a Part Time Summer Laboratory Intern (Chemistry) in Cinnaminson, NJ. This position will assist the following groups within chemistry Drinking Water Laboratory and Bottle Prep area. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Preparing bottle orders for scheduled drinking water sampling events Preparing orders for radon kitsWaste disposal of lead in drinking water samples that have been storedAssist with pre-screening drinking water samples for pH and Turbidity analysisMay assist in sample receipt and log-in as needed during periods of high-volume activityShould be able to perform basic chemistry tasks such as pipetting preservatives to sample containersBasic use of pH paper for pH determinations and use of standard turbidity meterRequirements:High School degree or equivalentSome basic laboratory experience is a plusTeam playerAbility to be concise, organized, able to take instructionWilling and able to work in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-taskMust be able to accurately identify, interpret and arrange number sequencesDetail oriented and able to prioritize assignmentsMust be able to stand and sit for various lengths of timeAvailable Shifts:Part Time- Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Candidates currently living within a commutable distance of Cinnaminson, NJ are encouraged to apply. This is a season position, starting in End of May/Early June and ending in mid to late August.
