UX Designer (Salesforce)

Position Overview

We are seeking a UX Designer to support the evaluation and optimization of our client's Salesforce Financial Services Cloud (FSC) instance across mobile, tablet, and desktop. This individual will be responsible for assessing usability, identifying opportunities to improve user experience, and providing thoughtful design recommendations to ensure the platform is intuitive, efficient, and aligned with user needs.

This role will partner closely with business, product, and technical stakeholders and is well suited for a designer who has experience working within complex enterprise platforms.

Location: Cincinnati, OH (Flexible Hybrid)

Engagement: Freelance, 20 hours/week through June 2026

Start Date: Mid April 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess the current Salesforce Financial Services Cloud experience across web, tablet, and mobile
• Identify usability gaps and opportunities to optimize workflows and user interactions
• Create UX deliverables including personas, user journeys, flows, wireframes, and prototypes
• Translate user needs, business requirements, and technical constraints into intuitive design solutions
• Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to ensure UX recommendations are feasible and actionable
• Communicate UX principles, design decisions, and recommendations clearly to cross-functional teams

Qualifications

• Experience designing successful user interfaces for web and mobile applications with seamless user experiences
• Salesforce experience required, ideally including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or Salesforce Marketing/CRM platforms
• Proficiency across traditional UX design phases, including wireframes, storyboards, mockups, and collaboration on HTML/CSS builds
• Strong knowledge of responsive design principles, including media queries
• Cross-browser design and testing experience
• Experience creating UX deliverables such as personas, use cases, user flows, site architecture, wireframes, and prototypes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate UX patterns and principles
• Working knowledge of front-end technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Understanding of opportunities and constraints across web, mobile, and tablet platforms, including browser compatibility considerations
• Experience working within Agile environments preferred
