ABOUT CRADLE CINCINNATI Cradle Cincinnati was founded in 2013 as a collaborative effort between parents, caregivers, healthcare professionals and community members with a commitment to reduce infant mortality in our community. In Hamilton County, 8.1 babies died for every 1,000 who were born from 2017-2021. That's a dramatic improvement from where we have been in the past, but our work is far from complete. Queens Village was founded as a program within Cradle Cincinnati in 2019 because we believe that Black women hold the key to reducing the racial disparity found in infant mortality rate in Cincinnati. Queens Village accomplishes our work by listening to black women, ensuring that black women hold positions of power, and creating space for Black women to rest, relax, and repower. To learn more about Queens's Village, please visit: Queens Village Infant Health Today The Senior Program Manager is a relationship builder, community advocate, and skilled project manager who leads neighborhood and citywide programming, partners with community stakeholders, and supports grant-funded initiatives. This role involves planning and executing high-impact events, coordinating community advisory boards, managing vendors and budgets, collecting and reporting evaluation data, and collaborating across teams to ensure programs are delivered with excellence, cultural humility, and care. The ideal candidate brings a deep commitment to equity, strong cultural competency, and a passion for building authentic, trust-based relationships within Black communities. They thrive in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments and are energized by creating meaningful, community-centered solutions that improve the well-being of Black women and families in Cincinnati. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES * Program Coordination and Education Management - Serves as program coordinator for assigned program. Supports leadership in implementation, coordination, evaluation and planning of program's short/long term goals. Serves as primary program liaison for daily administration and operational issues such as data management, marketing/communications, outreach, annual conference coordination, education and social media coordination. Maintains direct communication with key staff for interaction and information exchange among program components, project leaders, and professional and lay communities. Participates fully in strategic planning process and identifies areas of need and focuses on translating portions of annual plan in to well defined projects and programs w/timelines and deliverables. Plans and executes projects in a timely manner. Provides support for internal/external education offerings and competency requirements and resources. Develops educational training using current evidence and research; serves as resource to multidisciplinary staff. Provides education/collaboration on improvement work internally/externally. Provides input in funding decisions for clinical education and staff professional development. * Marketing/Outreach/Communication - Places orders for materials and monitors budget for funded projects. Facilitates grant applications and provides support for timely submissions in conjunction with research. Provides manuscript and reference support, including use of electronic resources (PubMed, EndNote etc.). May acts as a liaison between clinical staff, business personnel and billing/coding personnel regarding appropriate documentation/procedural modifications. Organizes and administers other program responsibilities, such as the maintenance of patient records, electronic systems, and files.
