**7pm-7am **JOB SUMMARY
Quality Inspector is responsible for ensuring that parts being produced meet the specifications and standards provided by our customers. Inspectors will perform routine repetitive inspection activities using predetermined and prescribed methods and procedures on products with sample analysis and documents the quality activities in support of the quality department.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Visual inspection of Injection Molded parts
First off inspection, receiving inspection, in process inspection
Utilize manual gauging, operate Vision System and Optical Comparator.
Follow Work Instructions and Procedures for inspection
Accurate documentation/paperwork of inspected product
Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices.
Collaborates well with others: proactively contributes to group objectives; volunteers to help other
Will perform other duties as assigned
Must be able to use measuring equipment effectively, micrometers, calipers, height and bore gauges, etc. May measure or weigh products to assess conformity to quality standards Basic math skills required.
Interact with supervisor to co-ordinate work and exchange information during quality meetings. Interact with operators to monitor progress and correct work that does not meet quality standards
Ability to work independently, coordinating work with work of others (i.e. operators, supervisors) as needed.
Familiar with ISO-9000 requirements is an asset. Use computer applications to monitor quality.
Basic Computer skills desired

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Three (3) Years of Experience in a manufacturing environment
High School Diploma/GED
Blue Print Reading and Dimensional Analysis Proficiency
Contact and Non-Contact Metrology Background
Geometric Tolerancing
ISO-13485 background / TS16949 background
Lean Manufacturing Experience (specifically: one-piece flow, Value Stream Mapping, Standard Work, Visual Factory)
Strong knowledge of PPAP/High Volume Process and Part Validation Techniques
Experience with Process Validation and/or Test Method Validations (for example: IQ, OQ, PQ and/or TMV)
Strong statistical analysis and mathematical ability a must
Ability to perform metrology on plastic parts
Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e. graphs, charts, formulas)
