At Raymond Storage Concepts (RSC), we help businesses move smarter through customized material handling and intralogistics solutions. Headquartered in Blue Ash, Ohio, with locations across Cincinnati, Columbus, Louisville, Lexington, and Dayton, we are proud to deliver exceptional service, innovative solutions, and a strong people-first culture.

We are seeking a Manager of HR Operations & Compliance to join our People Operations team in a highly visible, high-impact leadership role. Reporting to the Executive Director of People Operations, this position will serve as a key partner to leaders across the business, driving employee relations, compliance, compensation guidance, and HR operational excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR professional who enjoys being in the middle of the action—solving complex people challenges, coaching leaders, improving processes, and helping shape smart business decisions. You will have the chance to influence how HR operates across multiple locations, build scalable practices, and create consistency that supports both our people and our growth.

This role is expected to grow in scope over time, with the opportunity to provide guidance, direction, and oversight to HR Generalist-level work as the function continues to scale.

What You’ll Do

Employee Relations & Leadership Support

  • Serve as the primary HR resource for employee relations matters across the organization
  • Coach managers through performance management, conflict resolution, employee concerns, and sensitive workplace situations
  • Lead investigations and ensure fair, consistent, and well-documented outcomes
  • Identify trends and proactively address issues before they escalate

Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure consistent application of company policies, HR practices, and employment law requirements
  • Maintain and update policies to reflect changing laws and business needs
  • Support audits, reporting, and documentation processes
  • Partner with leadership to mitigate risk while enabling smart business decisions

Compensation & Organizational Effectiveness

  • Guide leaders on compensation decisions including offers, promotions, and pay changes
  • Build and maintain salary ranges using market data and internal equity considerations
  • Support organizational changes including restructures, promotions, and internal movement
  • Ensure job scope, leveling, and responsibilities are aligned across the business

HR Operations & Process Improvement

  • Strengthen scalable HR processes across employee relations, compliance, and compensation workflows
  • Improve clarity, ownership, consistency, and documentation across People Operations
  • Help elevate the capability of the HR team as the function continues to grow

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • 7+ years of progressive HR experience, with strong focus in employee relations and compliance
  • Strong working knowledge of employment laws, investigations, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and HR operations
  • Experience advising leaders on compensation decisions and pay practices
  • Strong judgment and ability to operate confidently in gray areas
  • Proven ability to influence leaders, build trust, and drive accountability
  • Comfortable traveling weekly to Columbus and Louisville locations

You Might Be a Good Fit If...

  • You’re the calm, confident person leaders call when people issues get messy
  • You know how to balance compliance, business needs, and doing right by employees
  • You coach managers through tough conversations instead of taking over for them
  • You spot problems early and act before they grow
  • You love bringing order, clarity, and structure to chaos
  • You make decisions and move things forward
  • You can walk into any branch, build trust quickly, and partner with leaders
  • You want to shape how HR operates—not just maintain it
  • You thrive in a high-accountability, team-first environment where results matter
