Kroger Family of Companies Maintenance Parts Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio
The Maintenance Parts Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of parts inventory and procurement to support maintenance operations across the organization. This role forecasts parts requirements and manages ordering to maintain optimal inventory levels at distribution centers. It ensures inventory accuracy and availability through effective monitoring and database management, including computerized systems. The manager leads the operation of vertical lift modules to streamline parts storage and retrieval, while also managing procurement contracts and pallet drop planning to secure cost-effective sourcing. Collaboration with other Store Support Center work streams is essential to anticipate future parts needs for upcoming equipment. The role also includes supply chain oversight to ensure timely delivery of parts to technicians, as well as managing auto-replenishment programs for technician vehicle inventories. RESPONSIBILITIES
Predict parts requirements and order parts to maintain optimal inventory levels at the parts distribution centers.
Maintain and monitor the current parts inventory to ensure accuracy and availability.
Oversee the full operation of vertical lift modules to streamline parts storage and retrieval.
Manage the procurement of parts and parts contracts, develop pallet drop needs, and ensure the lowest cost for parts.
Work closely with other Store Support Center work streams to anticipate future parts needs for upcoming equipment.
Ensure timely delivery of parts to technicians by managing the supply chain effectively.
Maintain and manage the parts inventory database through a computerized system.
Handle the processing of invoices and reconcile accounts to ensure financial accuracy.
Manage technician vehicle inventory auto-replenishment programs and inventory levels to ensure technicians have the parts they need when they need them.
Physical demands include, but are not limited to, high aptitude for standing and walking endurance, sitting while driving to various stores, lifting and carrying up to 70 pounds, pushing and pulling climbing ladders of various types, bending, squatting, and kneeling, and working in different temperatures inside and outside the store.
Supervise and coach direct reports in the performance of their duties; complete performance reviews and provide feedback to direct reports.

Proven experience in inventory management, parts procurement, and supply chain operations.
Strong analytical skills for forecasting and data analysis.

Ability to manage supply chain operations and ensure timely delivery.
Knowledge of costeffective procurement practices and inventory management strategies.
Desired
Bachelors degree in energy engineering, mechanical engineering, construction, or comparable related field experience.
