TAD PGS, Inc. Machine Set-Up/Operator in Cincinnati, Ohio
We have an outstanding Contract position for aMachine Set-Up/Operatorto join a leading Company located in theCincinnati, OHsurrounding area.
As a Machine Set-Up/Operator, you will be required to set up and operate all machines located in the Machine Shop. You will be responsible for the quality of your own work.
Responsibilities :
Perform a variety of tasks, including but not limited to setting up Computer Numerical Control (CNC) machines and operating them at specified production levels, maintaining quality standards at all times.
Provide feedback and take corrective action whenever conditions exist that prevent the achievement of quality, performance, and production standards.
Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision.
Acquire proficiency in maintaining quality/production standards in one job function for which you are trained.
Maintain a clean, uncluttered, and safe work environment, observing and practicing high standards of health and safety, including wearing Personal Protective Equipment.
Maintain good attendance.
Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management.
Basic Hiring Criteria :
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be mechanically inclined with good basic mechanical skills.
Ability to interpret CNC programs and edit them as needed.
Knowledgeable with calipers, micrometers, and optical comparators.
Knowledgeable with engineering prints and specifications.
Ability to chart dimensions on machine shop forms.
Able to read gauges and other instruments.
Ability to read blueprint drawings.
