Kroger Family of Companies Licensing & Exam Compliance Manager in Cincinnati, Ohio
Responsible for maintaining all required licensing and regulatory examination activities that support financial service products. Be knowledgeable of applicable state check cashing, money transmitter, and lottery regulations, and be a proactive compliance member providing strong support for the licensing and examination program. Work closely with the Head of Compliance to ensure KPF (Kroger Personal Finance) adheres to licensing and legal standards supporting our financial service products. RESPONSIBILITIES - Conduct regular reviews of state legislation and regulations associated with KPF's applicable products, including but not limited to, check cashing, money transmission, and lottery, to ensure Kroger is maintaining proper licensing
Manage and submit all necessary supporting documentation for new license applications, renewals, and examinations, including but not limited to quarterly MSB call reports and annual reporting requirements
Develop and maintain knowledge of federal and state licensing procedures (and changes thereto) that impact KPF's financial services
Prepare all reports for state examinations and manage all communications with licencors, including maintaining management action plans and remediation for any findings
Manage the content and submission for all Money Service Business Questionnaires required by Kroger's financial institution partners
Oversee and distribute all applicable Kroger, vendor, and state required signage to be posted at store level
Partner with KPF business owners, KPF Transaction Monitoring group, KPF Fraud Investigation Unit, Legal, RASC, KCRC, Asset Protection and Friendly & Experience department to gather appropriate documentation for examinations
Travel up to 10% to meet with internal and external clients

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum
Bachelors Degree business, accounting, finance, risk management, or equivalent experience
Any experience in managing company licenses, including compiling applications, submitting renewals, and interacting with agencies and examiners
4+ years of experience in the financial services industry
Excellent organizational skills necessary to provide licensing document preparation and disclosures
Knowledge of computerized information systems and their application to all areas of responsibility
Ability to analyze and organize federal and state licensing processes as related to a Money Service Business
