Description: An Entry-Level Design Engineer job is currently available at Belcan in Cincinnati, OH. This is a full time, direct job with full benefits. Great matching candidates will have Bachelor"s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar discipline. In this job, you will support design for tooling for building aircraft engines.
Job Duties:
Support equipment design and development
Design, including concept sketches and layouts
Preparation of specifications and design calculations
Reviewing and checking designs, drawings and data by subordinate engineers, designers, and vendors
Reviews design documents of equipment manufacturers or subcontractors.
Responsible for tracking project funding and staying under budget.
Presenting engineering design review presentations.
Required:
BS or MS degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline
Skilled with Microsoft Office tools and possess some knowledge of modeling and analysis using one or more tools
Knowledge of industry standard practices and project organization
Ability to track progress of multiple design project
Experience with stress analysis, technical writing, and manufacturing process
Self-motivated, adaptable, highly organized and possess excellent communication abilities
Legal authorization to work in the US required and has or able to get security clearance
Preferred:
Experience with NX or other modeling software
Experience with ANSYS
We provide a competitive pay and benefits package. This position is offering a salary range of $58,240-$66,560. Belcan considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to education, experience, geographic location, and discipline.
