Actalent Construction Project Engineer in Cincinnati, Ohio
What You’ll Do: Support a small owner's rep/construction management firm focusing on commercial, higher education, student housing, government projects
Support the execution of major commercial and industrial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
Serve as a key resource with a strong understanding of contracts, drawings, specifications, and project schedules
Establish and maintain effective communication workflows with owners, architects, consultants, and trade partners
Review construction documents to identify constructability, quality control, and coordination issues, and help drive solutions
Assist with project studies, material and method evaluations, and cost estimating
Develop and track procurement schedules, supporting timely buyouts of materials and subcontract scopes
Schedule, lead, and document jobsite meetings, owner/architect coordination meetings, and internal project reviews
Collaborate with design professionals to clarify requirements and ensure trade partners fully understand scope, risks, and timelines
Manage the change order process, including reviewing pricing, negotiating scope changes, and securing approvals
Drive project closeout activities, including warranties, guarantees, punch lists, final payments, and records retention
What We’re Looking For
1+ years of experience on commercial and/or industrial construction projects
Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is a plus
Must have procore experience

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $40.85/hr.
