Actalent Construction Estimator in Cincinnati, Ohio
Job Description
The Estimator is responsible for leading complex estimating efforts, developing accurate and competitive project budgets, and working collaboratively with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
Responsibilities
Develop detailed conceptual, schematic, and design development estimates.
Review and analyze drawings, specifications, and project documents to prepare accurate cost estimates.
Review and evaluate subcontractor and supplier bids for scope completeness and pricing accuracy.
Ensure alignment with project scope and schedule.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, owners, and consultants to define scope and pricing.
Present estimates, budgets, and value engineering options to clients.
Engage in value engineering to optimize project costs.
Essential Skills
3+ years of estimating experience
Experience in commercial and/or industrial projects
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering is preferred but not required

This is a Permanent position based out of Cincinnati, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $120000.00/yr.
- Project completion based bonuses & end of year bonus (based on company performance). Typically the bonuses total are 15-18% of base salary. - 3 weeks of vacation - 1 week of personal time - 8 paid holidays - Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance
