Pediatric Chronic Pain Physician

Cincinnati Children's is seeking a full-time Pediatric Chronic Pain Physician (Appointed through the Department of Anesthesia) to join our nationally recognized, multidisciplinary Chronic Pain team. Position Overview

This role offers a diverse clinical portfolio that integrates:

  • Outpatient chronic pain management

  • Inpatient pain consultation services

  • Interventional and procedural pain care

The successful candidate will care for children and adolescents with a broad spectrum of acute, chronic, and complex pain conditions, working closely with a highly collaborative team that may include psychologists, physical therapists, and other pediatric subspecialists.

Clinical Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive, patient- and family-centered care across inpatient and outpatient settings

  • Participate in multidisciplinary chronic pain clinics

  • Deliver interventional and procedural pain therapies

  • Share responsibility for Chronic Pain team call coverage

Qualifications

This position is open to both Pediatric Anesthesiologists and Pediatric Non-Anesthesiologists. Candidates must have completed a pediatric pain medicine fellowship and be board-certified in Pain Medicine. The ideal applicant will demonstrate not only strong clinical expertise, effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team, commitment to high-quality, family-centered pediatric care, but also, skills and experience in a wide range of interventions utilized in pediatric chronic pain.
