Actalent Analytical Development Scientist in Cincinnati, Ohio
Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Analytical Scientist to support laboratory testing activities within a regulated scientific environment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the quality, safety, and integrity of materials and products through precise analytical testing, documentation, and equipment maintenance. The ideal candidate is hands-on, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced laboratory setting.
What You’ll Do
Prepare analytical reagents, standards, and solutions in alignment with approved analytical methods and laboratory protocols
Perform routine chemical and physical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, finished products, and stability samples using validated internal and compendial methods
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot analytical instrumentation to ensure reliable and reproducible results
Support laboratory readiness by managing glassware preparation, automated washing systems, and inventory of lab supplies
Accurately document experimental work, test results, and observations in laboratory notebooks and electronic systems in accordance with established procedures
Ensure proper handling, segregation, and disposal of laboratory waste following safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements
Maintain an organized, audit-ready laboratory workspace, including instruments, materials, and documentation
Execute all responsibilities in strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Good Laboratory Practices (GLP), and site safety standards
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Education:
High School Diploma minimum educational requirement.
Experience:
Typically requires no previous related experience. Experience performing chemical or physical tests with chromatographic, spectroscopic, or other analytical technique preferred.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
