Job Description
The Solar Installer is responsible for supporting the installation of solar energy systems in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and applicable electrical codes. This role involves hands‑on field work, collaboration with project teams, and adherence to quality and safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Install, secure, and align solar panels on rooftops, ground mounts, and other structures using appropriate hand and power tools
Assemble and mount racking systems, inverters, and related hardware per engineering drawings and design specifications
Ensure installations comply with NEC and applicable local electrical codes, even when electrical scope is limited
Perform basic electrical tasks as required, including equipment connections, grounding verification, and conduit inspection
Conduct site assessments to confirm proper layout, measurements, and placement of solar equipment
Follow all OSHA safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site
Collaborate with installation crews, project managers, and inspectors to support successful project execution
Document completed work and assist with quality checks, inspections, and punch‑list items
Required Skills
Basic electrical knowledge
Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively
Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

This is a Contract position based out of Chouteau, OK.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $68.56 - $68.56/hr.
