1/1/2026 - 10/1/2026 We farm 5000 acres of dryland, 1000 acres of irrigated located on the beautiful Rocky Mountain Front. We farm wheat, chickpea, pea, barley, sunflowers, flax. We also have a seed plant where we add value to our product by cleaning and processing the seed. In addition to our farm and seed plant, we also run 200 mother cows in a cow-calf operation. We confine our cattle for calving and bring them in from pastures in January when calving starts. Calving ends in June. Employees will need to assist with birthing and deliveries and caring for cattle during this time. After June cattle are returned to pasture and no care is needed. Employees will need to assist with all aspect of crop farming including planting, seeding and spraying crops in the spring, spraying weeds, and irrigating crop in the summer. During summer months employees will also need to assist with fence maintenance and repairs. Employees will need to drive on the farm truck to haul crop from field to storage and operate harvest equipment to harvest grain. Employees will also need to complete general cleaning and farm maintenance. Employees will need to complete routine repairs and maintenance on equipment and irrigation systems. Employer may provide pay increases for performance, longevity and/or experience at employer's discretion. Employer may provide performance bonuses at the end of the contract at the employer's discretion. Job requires extensive sitting, walking, and exposure to extreme outdoor temperatures. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Job requires a regular drivers license. Require 3 months experience.
