Key Responsibilities

  1. System Design and Development:

  2. Design, develop, and implement automation solutions aligned with business objectives.

  3. Create and program control systems, including PC, PLCs, SCADA, and robotics.

  4. Develop system schematics, layouts, and technical documentation.

  5. Integration and Testing:

  6. Integrate automation systems with existing machinery and software platforms.

  7. Test and troubleshoot automated processes to ensure optimal performance.

  8. Conduct root cause analysis for system failures and implement corrective measures.

  9. Process Improvement:

  10. Analyze current production processes and identify opportunities for automation.

  11. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflows and reduce manual tasks.

  12. Implement strategies to enhance system efficiency, reliability, and scalability.

  13. Maintenance and Support:

  14. Monitor automation systems and ensure they operate reliably and efficiently.

  15. Perform regular system maintenance and updates to prevent downtime.

  16. Provide technical support and training to operators and team members.

  17. Compliance and Safety:

  18. Ensure automation systems comply with industry standards and regulations.

  19. Conduct risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety hazards.

  20. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in automation or related roles.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in programming languages (e.g., Python, C++, ladder logic) and control systems (e.g., PLC, SCADA, HMI).

  • Familiarity with robotics, sensors, actuators, and industrial networks (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).

  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and process optimization techniques.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
