This role is designed to give the primary caregivers a short break while ensuring the child feels safe, supported, and engaged. The ideal candidate will enjoy calm, gentle interactions and be comfortable providing both companionship and personal care in a nurturing environment. Responsibilities Engage in age-appropriate, enjoyable activities such as playing with bubbles, listening to music, and watching kid-friendly shows Provide personal cares as needed Maintain a safe, calm, and comforting environment Offer emotional support and reassurance, especially during moments of frustration or upset Be attentive to the child\'s needs, preferences, and triggers, including avoiding loud noises and other sources of distress Communicate regularly with parents regarding the child\'s needs and well-being Qualifications Previous experience with childcare, babysitting, or respite care preferred Patient, gentle, and compassionate demeanor Comfortable providing personal cares Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Ability to understand and respond to the child\'s needs, including navigating communication barriers ***** APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS: E-Mail a Rsum: Caitlynn@consumerdirectcare.com
