About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to provide evaluations and direct therapy services for students ranging from early childhood through 12th grade. In this role, you will work within a supportive school environment, helping students access their education through mobility, motor skill development, and individualized therapy interventions.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive student physical therapy evaluations.
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in accordance with the student’s plan of care and physician orders when applicable.
Deliver direct treatment services and monitor student progress.
Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate records according to district and professional standards.
Collaborate with teachers, school staff, Special Services (SS) team members, and families to support student success.
Participate in IEP processes and contribute to goal development for students receiving PT services.
Minimum Requirements
Current Wisconsin Physical Therapist (PT) License.
Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
DPI (Department of Public Instruction) license required.
Experience working with children or in a school setting preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Must meet all state, federal, and local requirements.
CPR certification (if applicable).
TB screening (PPD, questionnaire, or chest X-ray) if required.
Current health certificate (if required by state/contract).
At least one year of prior PT experience preferred.
Caseload & Work Environment
Approximately 27 students on caseload.
Students range from early childhood to high school (EC–12).
Work collaboratively with a supportive Special Services team.
