ManpowerGroup Machine Operator in Chipley, Florida
Our client, a leading manufacturer in the textile industry, is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team. As a Machine Operator, you will be an essential part of the production department supporting the manufacturing process. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.
Job Title: Machine Operator
Location: CHIPLEY, FL
Pay Range: $14
Shift: Days (Monday - Thursday 6a-4p, Friday as needed)
What's the Job?
Read and interpret cut orders, cloth dimensions, and pattern directions to ensure accurate production.
Program Texpa machines via computer for cloth size adjustments.
Use Forklift Lift to load and unload cloth rolls, requiring approximately 20 lbs. of force.
Attach cloth rolls using a handheld sewing machine
Join comforters on top and sides, then transfer finished products to buggies, attaching tickets for subsequent processes.
Clean machines once per shift and make minor adjustments to double needle sergers as needed.
What's Needed?
Forklift experience
Basic computer skills for machine programming.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and push throughout the shift.
Use of safety goggles and wire mesh gloves for safety during knife adjustments.
Adherence to all plant safety procedures and protocols.
