Temporary Fulltime position from 3-1-2026 to 10-15-2026 45 Hours/week $13.03/ hour US worker H-2A Adverse Housing Compensation Adjustment -$1.80 -- Wage for H-2A workers provided housing is $11.23 Worker will be required to perform a variety of duties related in support of agricultural activities related to a combination of dry land small grains, irrigated hay, and cattle. Swathing, baling, irrigating, summer fallow, spraying, seeding, fence maintenance, irrigation, moving cows with ATV's, branding, assist with calving, doctoring, combining, driving grain cart or grain truck, machinery maintenance as needed, picking rock, mowing. The job entails working around farm machinery, a variety of farm animals as well as exposure to predators and snakes. Most duties are performed out of doors, and entail exposure to extreme heat, cold, dust, rain and other environmental conditions. Worker must be able to crouch, bend, lift and carry up to 100 pounds. Additional hours and split shifts may be needed during calving and harvesting. Driving is required. Employer provided items (at no cost to the worker): All tools and equipment necessary to perform the duties assigned as well as transportation between worker(s) on-site housing and the work site. A cell phone or two-way radio will be provided for emergency and ranch communications at no cost to the worker (excluding long distance charges). Housing and Workers Compensation insurance will be provided at no charge to the workers. Social security / Medicaid Taxes and Federal / State taxes will be withheld from U.S. Worker's paychecks. Voluntary withholdings will be deducted from foreign workers' paychecks at their request. Employer will make the following deductions when applicable: FICA, loans and advances, long-distance telephone charges the reasonable repair or replacement cost of willful or negligent damage to housing, tools and equipment caused by the worker (other than normal wear and tear). The expected work schedule may be required in a split shift due to the nature of the job duties. Hours may vary due to weather, time of year and the requirements of the job. Work may be offered more than the specified hours per day, but only required to work the hours specified. Work may be offered 7 days a week but only required 6 days a week.
