Job Title: Unarmed Security Escort - High-Value Cargo Protection Location: Statewide travel across California Employment Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Compensation: Competitive pay (DOE) + Travel Per Diem + Company-Paid Lodging
Position Overview We are seeking highly responsible, alert, and professional individuals to serve as Unarmed Security Escorts for high-value cargo transportation. In this role, you will travel behind assigned cargo trucks in a separate company vehicle to monitor, safeguard, and document the secure movement of valuable shipments.
Assignments can range from local routes to multi-day trips requiring overnight stays. This position is ideal for individuals who excel in situational awareness, communication, and independent decision-making.
Key Responsibilities Safely operate the escort vehicle and maintain constant visual contact with the assigned cargo truck Maintain situational awareness and monitor for risks, suspicious activity, or potential threats Communicate promptly and clearly with drivers, dispatch, and law enforcement when necessary Document trip activity through accurate logs and incident reporting Follow all company safety, security, and operational protocols Represent the organization professionally with clients, partners, and authorities
Minimum Requirements Valid Drivers License with a clean driving record Valid California Guard Card (or ability to obtain one) High school diploma or GED Ability and willingness to travel for extended periods (including multi-day trips) Must be at least 21 years of age Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Preferred Qualifications Prior military or law enforcement experience Training or certification in Executive Protection or professional security operations Experience with high-value cargo, transportation security, or logistics operations
