Resideo Sr Procurement Project Supervisor in CHIHUAHUA, Mexico

As a Senior Procurement Project Supervisor, you will lead and manage end-to-end procurement activities that support the development and launch of some of the most innovative products in our industry. Through strategic oversight of supply partners and cross-functional collaboration, you will play a critical role in bringing high-quality products to market that positively impact millions of people worldwide.

In this role, you will partner closely with engineering, marketing, manufacturing, logistics, commodity leaders, and executive stakeholders to solve complex business challenges and ensure successful product launches. You will drive high-impact initiatives that accelerate business performance, optimize supply chain efficiency, and deliver measurable value.

A key component of this role is leveraging data analytics and financial acumen to inform decision-making. You will analyze procurement and supplier performance data, identify trends and risks, and develop actionable insights that improve cost, quality, and delivery outcomes. You will also apply strong financial expertise to manage product cost, evaluate total cost of ownership, support forecasting, and ensure alignment with overall business objectives.

The ideal candidate is a proactive leader who can influence and motivate cross-functional teams, manage competing priorities, and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for tracking, monitoring, and communicating project progress, as well as preparing clear, concise reports and executive-level summaries on project status, risks, and opportunities.

JOB DUTIES:

  • Oversees and coordinates the operational and strategy creation aspects of sourcing projects

  • Partners with Category and Commodity leaders to create strategy and drive projects to completion

  • Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports

  • Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customers satisfaction goals and objectives

  • Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and customers

YOU MUST HAVE:

  • 8+ years of experience in Strong financial acumen, including financial analysis, cost control, and understanding of manufacturing process cost components.

  • 5+ years of experience leading projects, including coordinating cross‑functional teams and driving project outcomes.

  • Proven analytical skillset, with advanced Excel proficiency (using it as an analytical tool, advanced formulas, reporting).

  • Relevant SAP experience, as well as exposure to other ERP systems.

  • Extensive background in Supply Management / Sourcing / Procurement.

  • Strong Negotiation skills

  • Advanced verbal/written English communication skills

  • Strong project management capabilities, including the ability to manage priorities and workflow effectively.
