Ford Motor Company Trainee MFG in Chihuahua City, Mexico
Lean Manufacturing Knowledge: Basic understanding of Lean tools such as 5S, Kaizen, Value Stream Mapping (VSM), and Six Sigma.
Data Analysis: Ability to interpret data and create dashboards (Power BI knowledge is a significant plus). Technical Software: Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks for reading/modifying layouts or parts.
Shadowing Supervisors: Assist Production Supervisors in managing daily operations, including headcount planning and ensuring the production schedule is met.
KPI Monitoring (SQDCM): Track and report key metrics at the Zone Control Center (ZCC) , focusing on S afety, Q uality, D elivery, C ost, and M oral.
Line Balancing: Perform time and motion studies to identify bottlenecks and optimize the workload across different stations on the assembly or machining line. Kaizen Initiatives: Identify "Muda" (waste) and lead small-scale Kaizen events to improve efficiency, reduce walking distances, or simplify manual tasks.
5S Standardisation: Conduct regular audits and implement improvements to ensure the workspace is organized, clean, and safe according to Ford standards.
FPS Implementation: Support the implementation of the Ford Production System tools, ensuring that standardized work is followed by all operators.
Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering is mandatory. Preferred fields include:

Electrical / Electronic Engineering
Automotive Engineering English Level: Intermediate to Advanced (B2 or C1).
