Part-Time ABA Behavior Technician (RBT) - Chicopee, MA
$20-$25 per hour | 12-20 hours per week | Minimum 3 Weekday Evenings Required (3pm-7pm)
Butterfly Effects is hiring Part-Time ABA Behavior Technicians and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) to provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy for children with autism in home and community settings.
This is a hands-on, rewarding role where you will help children build communication, social, and daily living skills using evidence-based ABA therapy techniques.
Compensation & Schedule
$20-$25 per hour (based on experience, education, and certifications)
Part-time: 12-20 hours per week
Must be available at least 3 consistent weekdays
After-school hours
Sessions take place in client homes in the Chicopee area
This role requires consistent weekday availability. Rotating or frequently changing schedules cannot be accommodated.
What You Will Do
As an ABA Behavior Technician, you will:
Implement individualized Applied Behavior Analysis treatment plans under BCBA supervision
Provide direct 1:1 ABA therapy to children with autism
Teach communication, behavior regulation, social, and life skills
Manage challenging behaviors using structured ABA techniques
Collect data and complete daily documentation through our online system
Communicate professionally with families and clinical supervisors
Participate in ongoing training and professional development
You will see measurable progress and make a meaningful impact in a child's daily life.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle
Personal tablet or laptop for documentation (smartphone alone is not sufficient)
Availability Monday-Friday from 3pm-7pm
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in home environments
Preferred Qualifications
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification
Experience working with children (childcare, teaching, coaching, paraprofessional, camp counselor, etc.)
Background in psychology, education, behavioral health, or related field
Entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. We provide ABA training and support RBT certification.
