Position Summary: This role provides mentoring and support as part of a therapeutic team at River Valley Counseling Center. Key responsibilities include providing transportation to various activities, helping individuals build essential life and social skills, supporting treatment plan goals, and maintaining accurate progress notes for a caseload. The position also involves developing lesson plans, consulting with clinical staff, demonstrating cultural competency, and connecting clients to community resources. Strong communication, professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to RVCC policies are essential. Key Responsibilities: Provide mentoring and support for youth. Work as part of a therapeutic team. Provide transportation to youths to a variety activity Educate and support youth in practicing/learning the identified needs/skills (e.g. building social skills, developing impulse control, developing independent living skills). Qualifications: Required: Must be at least 21 years of age One of the following educational and experience requirements: Bachelor?s degree in a human services field (from an accredited university) and at least 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth Associate?s degree in a human services field (from an accredited school) and at least 1 year of experience working with the target population High school diploma or HiSET and at least 2 years of experience working with children, adolescents, or transition-age youth Demonstrated experience using a computer and basic keyboarding skills. Highly organized, self-motivated, flexible (including schedule), and be able to work as part of a team. Bilingual applicants strongly urged to apply Preferred: Bilingual (English/Spanish Speaking) What we offer: Salary Range: \$18.25 - \$24.25 / hour Salary ranges are based on years of experience, level of education, specialty and licensure/certifications.
