Pay Rate:

The pay rate for this job is $20 - $20 / hour

What you'll be doing as a Water Sweeper Driver:

  • Operate a water sweeper (or street sweeper truck) to clean roads, parking lots, construction sites, or industrial areas

  • Spray water to control dust and debris during sweeping operations

  • Follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely completion of cleaning tasks

  • Inspect the vehicle before and after use (fluid levels, tires, brushes, water system, etc.)

  • Perform basic maintenance such as refilling water tanks and cleaning filters

  • Safely maneuver the vehicle in tight or high-traffic areas

  • Remove dirt, trash, and debris to maintain a clean and safe environment

  • Follow all safety guidelines and traffic regulations while operating equipment

  • Report any mechanical issues, hazards, or incidents to supervisors

  • Communicate with team members and site personnel to coordinate work effectively

Shift timings - 1st Shift (Day)

Job requirements:

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment with PeopleReady

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Valid driver's license (CDL may be required depending on the vehicle and location)

  • Experience operating commercial or heavy-duty vehicles, preferably sweepers or similar equipment

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and operate equipment in a safe, controlled manner

  • Background check and drug screening required
