JPMorgan Chase Tax Oriented Investments Control Senior Associate in Chicago, Illinois

As a Tax Oriented Investments Control Senior Associate, you will play a key role in ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial operations. You'll oversee critical portfolio and legal entity reporting, support the controller function through data analysis, and deliver essential financial reports. Your expertise will help drive process improvements and strengthen our controls, while your collaboration with cross-functional teams will ensure seamless business operations.
Job responsibilities
Build relationships with the business, middle office, technology, and corporate tax colleagues
Maintain LOB portfolio via finance subledger
Maintain and oversee LOB legal entity structure reporting
Reconcile and analyze portfolio data to support controller function
Deliver Month end and quarterly reporting deliverables
Assist with implementation of process improvements across LOB applications
Develop subject matter expertise such as portfolio GAAP and LOB controls and understanding how those concepts apply to the LOB's technology platform.
Complete other reporting and analysis activities as needed
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
Accounting degree
3+ years of work experience in an accounting position
Experience month-end close process
Strong Excel skills
Ability and desire to problem solve
Ability to multi-task
Aptitude for numbers and financial analysis
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
Alteryx experience
SAP experience
