Job overview and responsibilities
The Senior Manager, Facility Security is responsible for leading the strategic development, governance, and continuous improvement of the organization’s enterprise-wide facility security program. This role provides enterprise leadership to drive a scalable, risk-based security strategy that ensures the protection of personnel, aircraft, facilities, and operational assets across a complex, global aviation environment through intelligence-driven insights, policy development, and advanced technology oversight.
Serving as a subject-matter expert, the position partners cross-functionally with senior stakeholders to embed security controls into business operations, infrastructure projects, and facility design, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements. The role also advances organizational resilience by proactively identifying and prioritizing emerging risks, strengthening program effectiveness through continuous improvement, and leveraging modern, technology-enabled solutions, while promoting a strong, enterprise-wide culture of security awareness and accountability throughout the organization.
Lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of enterprise-wide facility security policies, standards, and governance frameworks to protect personnel, aircraft, facilities, and operational assets across the organization’s global footprint
Conduct and oversee enterprise-wide security risk assessments, threat evaluations, and vulnerability analyses across corporate and operational environments to proactively identify, prioritize, and mitigate evolving security risks
Provide strategic leadership for the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of facility security technologies, including access control systems, video surveillance platforms, alarm monitoring, and related security infrastructure
Partner cross-functionally with senior stakeholders, including airport operations, corporate real estate, IT, and safety, to ensure security controls are embedded into facility design, infrastructure projects, and operational processes
Develop and maintain scalable, risk-based facility security programs aligned with aviation security regulations, corporate risk management frameworks, and industry best practices to ensure sustained program effectiveness and compliance
Develop and deliver enterprise-wide facility security awareness initiatives and training programs that reinforce employee understanding of security policies, threat recognition, and reporting protocols
Travel up to 30%
This role is hybrid (3 days a week in-office during none travel weeks)
Qualifications
What’s needed to succeed (Minimum Qualifications):
Bachelor's degree or related experience
Bachelor’s degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, Aviation Management, or a related field
Experience managing enterprise facility security programs within large, complex, or global organizations
Experience supporting aviation, transportation, critical infrastructure, or highly regulated industries strongly preferred
Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives without direct supervisory responsibility
5+ years of progressive experience in facility security, corporate security, or risk management
Strong judgment, professionalism, and discretion, with the ability to operate effectively in dynamic and sensitive situations
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Successful completion of interview required to meet job qualification
Reliable, punctual attendance is an essential function of the position

CPP – Certified Protection Professional (ASIS International)
PSP – Physical Security Professional (ASIS International)
Additional security, risk, or aviation-related certifications are a plus
The base pay range for this role is $127,870.00 to $166,492.00.
The base salary range/hourly rate listed is dependent on job-related, factors such as experience, education, and skills. This position is also eligible for bonus and/or long-term incentive compensation awards.
