Pay Range: $32.00 - $52.08 per hour

Summary:
The Team Lead is a key member of the Rush University System for Health community. This position works collaboratively with the Manager to support the team through direct clinical supervision, oversight of daily operations (including data management) and leading quality improvement efforts. This position is a hybrid of direct clinical practice with patients (e.g., psychotherapy or care management), as well as clinical supervision for team members and the other aforementioned administrative work. This position requires expertise in crisis management and will serve as the primary point of contact for staff who require support in crises or high-risk clinical situations, with the support of the Manager. This position will leverage their perspective to also contribute to the team’s strategic vision and operations, in close collaboration with the Manager. Finally, this position exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.

Required Job Qualifications:
• Master’s degree in Social Work.
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in State of Illinois.
• 6+ years’ experience in healthcare, care management, mental health and/or social services.
• Supervisory or management experience.
• Experience providing clinical supervision.
• Experience with evidence-based interventions.
• Experience with high risk and/or complex populations.
• Strong planning and implementation skills, including problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience utilizing motivational interviewing techniques.
• Strong active listening, critical thinking, judgment and decision-making skills.
• Ability to approach clients and workplace from a trauma-informed and health equity lens.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to effectively address current and future barriers with patients and colleagues.
• Embodiment of the following qualities: Cultural humility, ability to build trustful relationships with clients/colleagues, nonjudgmental and empathetic listening skills, and ability to show compassion and respect.

Responsibilities:
• Oversees day-to-day operations of team to ensure timely and effective service provision, under oversight of Manager.
• Administers clinical supervision to LCSWs, LSWs and student interns serving Rush patients, caregivers and/or community members.
• Supports crisis management across team and directly intervenes when cases are escalated from staff.
• Serves as the liaison on Manager’s behalf and serves as the first point of contact for staff, as well as Rush internal relationships and
community partners as directed by Manager.
• Leads quality improvement initiatives for the team with Manager’s instruction; activities may include but are not limited to data collection,
chart review, interdisciplinary collaboration, and analysis of patient data.
• Provides evidence based, patient-centered, and trauma informed social work services to patients and families.
• Maintains process and training materials to ensure they are up-to-date, supporting both internal needs as well as external review (e.g.,
audits).
• Collaboration with Manager on program evaluation efforts and key deliverables.
• Leads the development and implementation of team’s programs or service line to address the changing needs of the community and
stakeholders.
• Provides strategic guidance and input to Manager regarding the development and implementation of programs and services to ensure the
perspectives and impact on our staff, patients and key partners are understood and addressed.
• Represent the department and team at meetings, conferences, or other public engagements on an as-needed basis.
• Provides direct clinical intervention with patients on a part-time basis to support team deliverables, maintain connection to the work when
supporting staff, and to inform decision-making with Manager.
