Lutron has an immediate opening for a Retail Sales Representative to support our Midwest Retail Sales territory. This is an exciting opportunity to join a marketleading brand and make a direct impact on retail sales performance. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our retail sales organization, representing Lutron while calling on retail customers and supporting their success in local markets.
This position is ideal for a driven, customerfocused sales professional who enjoys building strong relationships and influencing results. You will work closely with retail partners at all levels of their regional field operations, strengthening partnerships, supporting effective selling, and helping optimize sales and profitability for both Lutron and our customers. Through collaboration, product expertise, and proactive account support, you will play a meaningful role in driving growth across the retail channel.
The Midwest Retail Sales territory includes: North Dakota, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Wisconsin, Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Kentucky
\ \ Responsibilities\ \
- Achieve sales goals, POS sales targets, and strategic product sales targets
- Develop, maintain and leverage relationships at the district and regional levels in both Home Depot and Lowes service and sales organizations to drive POS, ensure service that meets Lutrons expectations, and gain access to exclusive activities with key customers
- Develop and execute sales plans at assigned strategic ACE chains
- Execute Best Buy Premium trainings and develop relationships with BBP Managers to drive mindshare and sales within the BBP organization
- Execute the tactical retail initiatives throughout the area, identify and reflect on large opportunities for growth by data and analytics to grow the business
- Utilize data and analytics to uncover trends in the district, region and division and collaborate internally to address opportunities
- Scale the efforts of coaching, training and developing our retail partners to ensure excellence on all resets, projects and promotions that will foster positive sales growth
- Attend all new store Grand Opening Events and strategic PRO events and network and leverage time with senior account leadership to drive both brand awareness and sales
- Have relationships with leadership and develop sales plans for \"flagship\" must-win stores in the area
- Provide updates and suggestions on initiatives, store conditions, competitive activity, and overall division performance to internal stakeholders to drive improvements across the business
\ \ Qualifications\ \ \ \
- Bachelor\'s Degree with minimum 2.80 GPA required; If you have 5 or more years of total work experience, degree is not required
- Minimum 2 years\' work experience required; previous experience in a customer facing or inside/outside role preferred
- Ability to travel at least 50% of the time throughout the Midwest Retail Sales territory
- Personal vehicle and Driver\'s License required
