NBCU Local Chicago is seeking a Research Analyst to support our research, sales and integrated marketing teams. You’ll translate complex datasets into clear/persuasive one-sheets and category decks, track program/station performance across all platforms, perform routine research maintenance tasks, and own station tickets & hospitality tracking/organization/distribution.
Responsibilities:
Track program performance and create sales pieces highlighting successes
Analyze complex datasets to evaluate and report program performance and audience behavior across linear, streaming, and social platforms
Under guidance of the Research Director, partner with sales and integrated marketing to transform data into compelling, narrative-driven presentations
Maintain program lineups in third party applications to ensure accurate and updated schedules
Ad hoc reporting, analysis and special projects
Manage rate card entry into Wide Orbit Media Sales
Own station tickets & hospitality tracking, organization, distribution
Work alongside Research Director to streamline efficiency by enhancing processes and reporting automation
2+ years analytical experience working with complex datasets
Advanced in Excel, PowerPoint
Experience with visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau, Domo)
Strong organizational abilities with a high level of attention to detail
Able to manage various projects independently while effectively collaborating across sales and marketing teams
Experience supporting a sales team with data-driven insights
Team-oriented, curious, and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Strategic thinker with strong interest in advertising/media research, consumer behavior, and media usage
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working in a media analytics role
Understanding of multicultural and bilingual audience measurement
Experience with SQL and/or Python
Experience with third party measurement tools such as Nielsen NLTV, Claritas C360, Scarborough Prime Lingo, MRI-Simmons, MediaRadar

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of four days per week.

Salary Range: $62,000 - $70,000
